About Us

The Mission Statement of Reed Point Marina is to provide the very best location for boaters to keep their vessels. This means providing a clean, safe and friendly facility where our customers feel at home. The dedication of our staff in carrying out this mission statement has succeeded to the point that Reed Point is now the largest marina in B.C.

Ownership is local, all having been with the marina since construction in 1977. Staff and management are active in the community, with a commitment to supporting marine related activities. Local fish hatcheries, power squadrons and marine research receive special attention. The marina is presently providing free space to the Reed Point Marine Education Centre and to the Stellar Sea Lion Research Consortium.

Reed Point is a full service marina, including fuel dock, new boat sales, brokerage, restaurant, chandlery, mechanical, electrical, fiberglass repair, canvas and yacht maintenance. There is a large workyard with a 38-ton travelift. A sewage pumpout is available free of charge to moorage customers.

The marina has approximately 900 wet berths, comprised of open slips, covered slips and self owned boathouse spaces.

  • Open berths - 20' to 100'
  • Covered slips - 24' to 54'
  • Boathouses - to 100'

There is ample parking, with one free parking pass given to each annual customer.

The marina directly employs full-time night security personnel. They have all been with the marina for several each, and as a result they know the boaters and take special care to look after our customers' vessels.

Best Management Practices are in effect both on the water and on land, ensuring a safe and clean environment for your boat.
